Yes. It is a licence change, not a rebuild — the server, your sites and your data stay exactly where they are.
No. Backups are included on every plan and can go to the server's own disk, any S3-compatible provider you already use, Google Drive, or your own machine. HostSecure Cloud Storage is there if you would rather not run a bucket yourself.
A licence alone is for a server you already have. These plans are the machine and the licence together, set up and ready. Free licences for your own servers are always available.
A Cloud VPS is built on our own infrastructure and is usually ready within minutes. A Cloud Dedicated machine is ordered from our supplier when you pay, and is typically ready the same day.
